Vanboxtel-WMS controls Dassy’s partially automatic warehouse
Dassy designs, manufactures and distributes professional workwear. The company manages over 800,000 items and supplies 1,350 distributors in more than 27 countries. This is done from a largely mechanised warehouse in Bruges where Vanboxtel-WMS controls the processes.
New automatic warehouse
Due to rapid growth – sales doubled in less than 10 years – Dassy built a new 5,000 m2 warehouse in 2021. Vanboxtel, which has been supplying and managing the WMS for the existing warehouse since 2012, was closely involved in this change of logistics processes. Over the past 10 years, Dassy and Vanboxtel have optimised their processes with various mechanical components.
Focusing on continuity
“Together with Vanboxtel, we developed the plans and implemented the improvements step by step,” says Hanne Bouckaert, warehouse operations manager at Dassy. “Whilst making these adjustments, we have always focused on the continuity of our operations. At no point did we fall behind on inbound or outbound.”

Dassy now has a state-of-the-art, future-proof and scalable distribution centre. Vanboxtel-WMS controls the entire logistics process from one single system. And real-time insight allows Dassy to continuously optimise the flow of goods and processes. This allows the company to respond smoothly to market needs and fulfil further growth ambitions.

Dassy’s investments in automation and digitalisation did not go unnoticed. Belgium’s top logistics experts awarded Dassy the Logistics Project of the Year Award in 2022.
