The distribution and transport company worked together with Vanboxtel to implement a warehouse management system and successfully migrate it to the cloud.
Better monitoring
Dobbe Transport has been using Vanboxtel’s hard- and software for more than fifteen years. “It was high time to upgrade our on-premise system,” says warehouse manager Paul de Winter. “We wanted to make a complete transition to the cloud. We were also looking for a WMS that would make it easier to connect with our clients, monitor our operations more effectively and generate better data and reports. Last but not least, we wanted a modern and secure solution. Vanboxtel’s solution and services tied in seamlessly with our wishes, among other things because of the flexibility and 24/7 support they offer. What’s even better is that the system can also accommodate our future ambitions, such as our desire to collaborate with national and international parcel shipping companies.”

As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, Dobbe Transport has undergone rapid growth and its processes are under enormous pressure during peak times. “That presented an additional challenge during the project. Vanboxtel was with us every step of the way. The migration was performed in two phases. By choosing the right moments, we were able to minimise its impact on our processes and our clients. We view this project as a joint success for both our organisations.”
